About Sloane R. Franklin:
Sloane R. Franklin is licensed to practice in both state and federal courts in Maryland. A significant portion of Mr. Franklin's practice is focused in criminal litigation, family law, complex civil litigation (including insurance defense), personal injury and construction accidents. Sloane received a B.S., magna cum laude, in Criminal Justice from the University of Baltimore in 1995. He received his law degree in 1998 from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Sloane went to law school later than many after serving four years with the Army in Military Intelligence from 1984 to 1988, and working in the security and construction industries for some years afterward. He served two judicial clerkships with the Honorable Joseph S. Casula, Circuit Court for Prince George's County, Maryland (while attending law school) and the Honorable James J. Lombardi, Circuit Court for Prince George's County, Maryland, before entering practice in 1999 with the former firm of Cain & Wyrough, P.C.
